The GSI Pinnacle Pro 2 Burner Stove took 4 years for GSI to perfect. It's heavier than my old Coleman, but at 1.4 inches, it has a much thinner profile. The flexible propane attachment is a BIG improvement. It's less likely to crack, and you can choose where to put your propane bottle. The windguards clip flush with the stove, and their L shape allows you to place handles off to the side.
At 4" the burners are twice as big as on the Coleman meaning more even heat distribution for your pan. Each burner emits 11,000 BTU's and has, I'll say, decent simmer control. It also folds open for easy cleaning which, I have to say, is important.
A few things I think could be improved:
The grate sits 1.5" from the flame which, I feel like results in heat loss.
The L shape compromises the wind guard,
The button you have to press to fold the stove down feels like something I'll eventually forget and break.
Overall I felt for $250 this stove was a significant upgrade from my old $80 Coleman. I look forward to cooking many more camping meals on it!
